101 ways to make a pizza.
a snooty pizza, that is.

Hubby and I are taking a cooking class tonight. Topic? Gourmet pizza.

How many weird items we can slap onto a circle of dough, sauce and cheese? Knowing the topic, round pizza will be tres gauche and instead we'll be making trendy ovals or parallelograms of artichoke hearts, goat cheese and roasted red peppers.

Wow. I'm hungry. Goat cheese never sounded so good.

So, with all this Wolfgang Puck-ishness, will I be flipping dough high into the air and preparing my anchovies with flair come tomorrow a.m.? I'll let you know.

Until then, bon appetit.

Mmmm, snooty pizza (which would be an excellent name for a rock band!). Artichoke hearts, goat cheese and roasted red peppers sounds like a delicious combination. Brett used to work at this restaurant, Ricco's, and he would invent his own snooty pizzas. I think my favorite one was with: feta, asparagus, spinach, garlic and shrimp. We got a bit crazy with our toppings!

Speaking of goat cheese, this is similar: Boursin. Have you ever had it? It is AMAZING. Maybe I'll have to splurge on some Boursin this weekend so you can have some. Yum-my. They have a Web site, www.boursin.com.
