Missouri Miracle

It's no secret I'm a huge sucker for Cold Case Files and Forensic Files and any sort of files having to do with murder, mayhem and missing persons. I watch and read because I'm always holding out hope that the good guys will get the bad guys and, hopefully, the victims will get justice. In a few cases, the victims actually get to go home safe to their families. That's why I'm gripped by the story out of Missouri of the two teenage boys who were found after being kidnapped ... one four days earlier and one four YEARS earlier. It reminds me a little of the Elizabeth Smart case, where the little Mormon girl kidnapped from her bedroom one night was found months later under the control of some religious zealot. These kids were taken by force from their daily lives and forced to endure good God only knows what -- and really, I don't want to know -- and now they're back with their families. The boys will be on Oprah today. Smart's a student at BYU. Life goes on

Exactly

I just noticed that there are exactly 666 emails in my Hotmail inbox. Am I superstitious? I've been reading vampire novels lately. Should I read anything into this? I thought about deleting one, but a new piece of junk mail will just pop into its place. Hopefully two pieces. So it'll quickly be much more than 666. What I should really do is clean out my inbox. I know. But it's so hard for me to part with that 42'' Plasma TV offer confirmation email. Or the Lion Brand Yarn Catalog Preview. I'm sure you can feel my pain. Am I flirting with Satan? Welcome to the Internet. Lucifer's Lair.
