I just read a story that made me think, perhaps, someone "up there" has grown quite tired of the family's escapades...

Plane carrying Sen. Kennedy struck by lightning

BOSTON, Massachusetts (AP) -- A plane carrying U.S. Sen. Edward M. Kennedy from western Massachusetts to his home on the coast was struck by lightning and had to be diverted to New Haven, Connecticut, his spokeswoman said.

What is up with the Kennedy curse??? My boss lent me a book (that I never got to and have to re-borrow because her friend went to China and needed books to read on the plane so she lent it to HER instead) called "The Curse of the Kennedys" or "The Kennedy Curse" or something ... it looks like it'd be an interesting read. I look forward to it. After I finish going through the Harry Potter series again (I've got #4, 5, and 6 yet), the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (books 1 and 2) and the other Dan Brown novel I purchased. So much reading to do! Geezum peach!

In memoriam...

I remember the first time I heard the name "Les Anderson." A bunch of Wichita State University communication majors were sitting around on campus, talking about classes they planned to take. Several people warned me: watch out for Les Anderson. He was tough. He had a murderous grading scale. It was nearly impossible to get an A. They weren't kidding. But he wasn't tough just to be a tyrant.
