Baby Joseph is in surgery as I write this.
Jason says the next 48 hours are the most critical. We'll be thinking of you all and sending love and prayers your way much, much longer than that.

They put up some pictures of the little squirt on the web site I linked to in the last post. He looks so much like Jack did when he was a newborn. Beautiful, just beautiful.

I came across a quote the other day that I've been thinking about ever since. Made me feel gushy. I'll share:

I remember the first time I heard the name "Les Anderson." A bunch of Wichita State University communication majors were sitting around on campus, talking about classes they planned to take. Several people warned me: watch out for Les Anderson. He was tough. He had a murderous grading scale. It was nearly impossible to get an A. They weren't kidding. But he wasn't tough just to be a tyrant.
